Hear 'n Aid, etc.: Some off-brand rock fundraiser song projects.

Just about everyone in 80s heavy metal was part of this Hear 'n Aid project. This subtitled video is helpful for spotting people. I love that David St. Hubbins and Derek Smalls of Spinal Tap are there in the chorus choir scenes.

Here's some bonus fundraiser songs for your morning listening pleasure:

This Croatian Band Aid-type thing seems to be more of a nationalistic project, but I love the arrangement.

I have known about Rock Aid Armenia from the beginning because Brian May and Roger Taylor participated in it. There's two versions for ya above. See if you can spot the people from Yes, Bryan Adams, as well as Ritchie Blackmore and a pre-rug Paul Rodgers.

And this is awesome. "Raise your hands, raise your voice/Give the chickens another choice!"
This is Musicians for Free-Range Chickens, from Saturday Night Live. With a real Michael Bolton and Chris Farley as Carnie Wilson in Wilson Philipps, among others.
