On April May 5th in Hudson, NY, join us for the 3rd Annual Hudson Valley Literary Festival: All LIT Up. The daylong festival, produced by CLMP, with The Hudson Opera House, Spotty Dog Books & Ale, and Hudson Wine Merchants, celebrates literature and literary publishing:

11 AM - 4 PM: Bargains! Bargains! Bargains! Literary Magazine & Small Press Fair Hudson Opera House, 327 Warren Street:
Featuring hundreds of books and magazines published by regional and national independent literary publishers on sale for only $2 an issue and $4 a book. Many of the editors and publishers will be present. Don't miss this opportunity to discover literature you are unlikely to find in a single store--everything from 1913 Press to Zone 3 Magazine.

5 PM: Lynne Tillman, Lydia Davia, Paul LaFarge, and Thisbe Nissen: A Reading & Chat Hudson Wine Merchants, 341½ Warren Street:
Join us for a frank discussion of the state of American fiction in the marketplace, followed by short readings from each of the participating writers and a wine and cheese reception.

8 PM: Karaoke + Poetry = Fun
Spotty Dog Books & Ale, 440 Warren Street:
All are welcome to participate: read a poem, sing a song! Daniel Nester of Unpleasant Event Schedule recreates his infamous NYC K+P=F series in upstate New York.
