If you are in New York, perhaps I will see you Wednesday night.

The Book Tour of My World Tonight will make a stop at the Open City KGB Reading Series on Wednesday, April 26 at 7pm. It's free.

I will read poems from The History of My World Tonight, and Christopher Connelly and I will read some Percapella collaborations. And Gene Cawley will perform some song poems.*

There will be two other readers: Maxine Swann and Lorin Stein, who both will read fiction.

More details at the Open City website here. KGB Bar is at 85 East 4th Street, between 2nd Avenue and Bowery.

*(In a previous version of this listing, I made a false claim that Gene, instead of playing his tasteful 12-string acoustic guitar, will unleash his 1981 Gibson Flying V electric on the intimate KGB audience. He'll be playing through three modified Vox AC-30 amps stacked behind the bar, with a stereo setup, dual distortion and a tape--not digital, that's for wussies--delay effect. Thus the KISS/Van Halen-ized version of the OC Logo.)
